USC transfer lineman Emmanuel Pregnon is visiting Texas this weekend after a visit to Oregon and Tennessee. I'm still trying to confirm the timing of the visit but I believe he visited Tennessee on Friday and with Texas playing Friday night, he likely began his UT visit on Saturday, meaning he could stay until Monday.

From what I've heard tonight, the UT visit has gone very, very well. This one was believed to be a Tennessee/Oregon battle but one person I spoke with tonight feels the Longhorns are absolutely in the mix. Another indicated that there's actually a decent level of confidence in Austin. Obviously, there are some moving parts with these recruitments and NIL talks can move things dramatically, but I'm told that Pregnon spent quite a bit of time with Steve Sarkisian and Kyle Flood on Saturday and things were going very well.

Pregnon started his college career at Wyoming before transferring to USC. While at USC, Pregnon started 12 of 13 games in 2023 and started every game this season, earning second-team All-Big 10 honors. He was the highest-graded pass blocker on USC's interior O-Line in the 2024 season.

We'll continue to monitor this one but the early word is that Texas has put itself squarely in the mix with the 6-5, 320-pounder.
