Talked to a source about practice today and here are a few things that were shared.

1. Jerrod Heard worked out with the wide receivers a lot today. I was told that Heard didn't take many, if any, snaps at quarterback during 7-on-7 work. It doesn't sound like he did a lot today with that group, but there's no question he spent time with Charlie Williams' group.

2. The best two plays of the day were made by the Johnson brothers. Colin Johnson scored on a deep pass from Shane Buechele and Kirk shook some poor soul to the ground in the open field during team drills. The run would have gone for a touchdown.

3. Jeff McCulloch and Kyle Porter both had their names mentioned, with Porter being described as passionate.

4. Although he had what was described as an ugly pick in seven-on-seven, Buechele did a good job of limiting mistakes overall throughout the practice and seemed to have the best day of the quarterbacks, per two sources. The touchdown to Johnson was clearly his best moment of today's practice.
