As we prepare to ring in the lunar new year, our little pup passed away due to complications from a liver shunt surgery. He reacted in the worst way possible and the toxins went straight to his brain. He went into a chronic seizure and was blind within an hour. We had 6 doctors work on him overnight and a neurologist to see if there was anything we could do to preserve his quality of life but no paths could be found. I had to sign the paper to allow him to go in peace. He turns one in March.
