How do you define your heroes? I define mine as anyone who serving a greater good other than their own interest. So, I look at a lot of people as being my heroes. However, I view those that have choosen to serve in a job where they have the potential to make the ultimate sacrifice, just a little higher. Police officers are definitely fall into this group.
This tragic story is about a young girl who is indeed a hero in my eyes, even though she never got a chance to be heroic. I choose to honor her memory now by thanking all the heroes out there who serve us every hour, every day. May unlimited blessings be yours.
I also don't want to end this post without lifting this young officer's family and friends up in prayer. May God grant them all that peace and comfort that overcomes all grief and that only He can give.
