Texas has moved Rob Cummins from tight end back to the defensive line, according to my sources.
Cummins has been switched to defensive end during offseason workouts. From what I was told, the Longhorns are stacked at tight end, and Cummins has a better chance to be in the rotation this season at defensive end.
In addition, there is a hope inside the building that Cummins will eventually receive a sixth-year of eligibility since he has missed two seasons due to injuries.
As of this moment, Cummins is the only position move this offseason. I will let you know if other players switch positions prior to the season opener.
