At the risk of infinite ridicule if I'm wrong 😂 especially Ohio State/ Notre Dame I pray that I get at least a few right.

This is my first time watching sooners this year. They look much improved on offense with DG playing. Cincinnati giving them all the underneath stuff is gonna cost the game.

Clemson and FSU in a battle. Clemson JJ yet missed a short FG to take the lead. FSU driving with 30 seconds left. 24-24

And the transfer portal beat Dabo. Probably could of pulled a kicker out there brother

I think the aggies are better than we thought.
As well as they have recruited the last 10yrs, their performance up to this point has been a freaking tragedy worthy of another cheezy movie.
They SHOULD be top 3 in conference and serious playoff contenders. Too much talent on that roster to be average. Jimbo? I think so.

Well so much for my upset of the week 😮‍💨
But TCU won So did FSU. I stated they would roll but I got the score wrong.

I'm happy for Jared Wiley he's played well so far this season he scored a couple of tds today.

Are Kansas and BYU our toughest conference games left? Think an argument could be made.

Alabama is making so many stupid little mistakes.
They are a VERY good team but these stupid little mistakes make them look pedestrian.
Amazing how you can have all the talent in the world but when you can't get out of your own way, you look like sh!t.

That's very aggy of them. It's the fightin farmers mo the last 10yrs or so.

I think Saban gets the hell out of dodge after this year. I know what he’s saying right now, but I think he’s probably done after this season.

So umm, who else is quietly rooting for Oregon to drop 60?

What?.......I'm petty. Lol
I am not rooting against or for CU this season. I am just interested in how it all unfolds. They are a decent team for having a new coaching staff taking over years of terrible teams. I had no delusion that they would beat Oregon, in spite of their Cinderella 3 game start. I figured from the beginning that they would win 2-3 games tops. When it is all said and done at the end of the season, I now think they will have 6 total wins.

I know Deion and CU have been getting a lot of attention and they are getting their ass kicked today, but a little perspective. They went 1-11 last year. Even if they go 6-6 it’s an amazing coaching job no matter how you slice it. .

I suspect you’re right but like him or not, Deion can recruit and you can bet he’ll have a long memory. They better get him this year.

I know a very successful sports handicapper, and he once told me two things about nccaf that stuck with me.

1. The public always has the biggest overreaction to week 1, and what a team does or does not do.

2. Alot of wins and losses start the week before. For example, let's say a team coming off a big blow out win, playing a team coming off an upsetting or bad loss.

#2 is the one that I am thinking about right now watching the Kansas game.

I know it's early, but if Kansas gets beat by BYU, and then we beat Baylor easily (38-10 etc), it's going to make me really nervous about next weekend.
But by that same logic if those things did happen and we lose to Kansas next week, I would like our chances much better in the OU game. Right now I think it's going to be hard for us to match ou's intensity and desire to redeem that historically embarrassing loss last year.

Oregon 35
Colorado 0
Halftime
Don't expect Dan Lanning to hold down the score. Deon has angered a lot of coaches with his approach.
i think it’s more jealously than it is anger. A lot of them only wish they could generate the interest and excitement around their program that Deion can

Reality is he got the #1 recruit in the country to go to Jackson state. What do you think he’s gonna do at CU given a couple years.

I think the "new" will wear off pretty soon. Sanders "pitch" is pretty gimmicky in my opinion. There's not many highly recruited kids (and their family), who are being looked at by serious powerhouse programs, that are going to be interested in or fooled by the gimmicky public act he does.

I think of Colorado like one of those bug zapper lights. Some kids will be attracted right to it, most will not

That may be right, but he doesn’t have to get everybody

I totally agree with #1. I also agree with #2, but would add an asterisk. Coaches that focus on the process and every individual person doing their job (like Saban has pretty much perfected) eliminates a lot of the mental swings that cause unnecessary losses or losses to inferior teams.
