Thursday 11:40 a.m. update - When I spoke with Vernon Broughton a couple weeks ago, he wasn't sure of spring game visit. I was just told that he will be at UT's Orange-White game on April 13. Big development there, especially getting him around a guy like Chad Lindberg and some of the UT commits since those guys are all friendly. .
Thursday 11:30 a.m. update - Bastrop Cedar Creek defensive end Alfred Collins tells me he'll be at UT's scrimmage this weekend. Big development for Texas there to get him back on campus. I'll touch base with him over the weekend to get his impressions.
Reminder, elite 2022 DT Kethian Alexander is supposed to be in as well.
Wednesday 5 p.m. update - Not so much UT related, but a couple notes. Kelee Ringo will be visiting Florida this weekend.
Also, Darius Snow has started setting up visits. He told me last weekend Texas he hasn't talked to UT in a while, so he's not really in the mix anymore. Just an FYI for you all who have followed his recruitment.

CB Ryan Watts has three official visits set up ... Notre Dame April 5, OU April 12, Arkansas May 3. He is planning to visit UT with his coach and his mother on April 10.
S Xavion Alford will be at LSU's spring game April 6 and Alabama's on April 13. Both are unofficial visits. He did say he'd be visiting Texas and A&M for spring practices in the next two weeks as well.
Big-time 2021 DT Maason Smith (Houma, LA) Terrebonne will take an unofficial visit to Texas this weekend.
Manor RB Tahj Brooks will be at the UT spring game on April 13.
