You really can't compare Travis Hunter and Charles Woodson's stats they weren't asked to do the same things. But both men deserved their Heisman.

But what Travis Hunter did this year was as remarkable as any Heisman winning qb. I'm sure most of you know he not only won the Heisman but the Biletnekoff and the Bednarik award. He certainly proved to me why he was the number ranked player out of high school.

Being from San Antonio I'm happy to see that my hometown Alamo Bowl will have a Heisman winner playing in it. Will he be a top 5 draft pick it'll be interesting to see where he goes.

Props to Travis Hunter he and his family came from nothing to be where they were today. I'm a Travis Hunter fan and he deserved it.

he had a good college career..but he wont be able to do that in the pros. They wont let him. He's probably going to go as a DB

He definitely deserved the heisman but I would disagree on the Bednarik. He'll likely be the #1 overall draft pick.

Pretty wild to see the Boise rb with 2,497 yds & 29 tds on 344 carries, averaging 7.3 yards per carry not get it. Just shows how unique Hunter was.

The only thing I’m surprised about was Hunter not being named a Thorpe Award finalist. Barron deserved to win it, but I still think Hunter should have at least been a finalist.

Champ Bailey who was a little bit of a 2 way player at Georgia recently said that Hunter will have to choose which side of the ball he will play on. Said you can't be a 2 way player in the NFL. Looking forward to watching his career.

I think it’s a crime personally. AJ didn’t even play the full second half of some of the games. TH wasn’t even the best player on his own team. Dude was robbed.

Am I the only one who thinks Ashton Jeanty should have won it?! 🤣
Nope. I'm still not sure how Hunter's amazing dominance of a "plays per game" metric matters. He may have been a top CB and a top WR, but Jeanty was the flat out best RB. Maybe next year there will be a fellow that's a really good, DB, WR, and special team player who has even more snaps.

I thought Jeanty should have won BUT I completely understand it going to Hunter. I guess if you look at who was the most valuable player to their teams success, hard to argue against Hunter for their offense and defense collectively.

Jeanty has a strong chance to break Barry Sanders single season record next week with 140ish yds. That's crazy.
