They are spending a lot of time positioning the "new Trump Republican party" as being made up of January 6 players. Have already tied Vance to the election deniers. Saying Vance will do for Trump what Mike Spence would not.
So, it looks like if "destroying democracy" and "Trump is Hitler" is off the board now they will be centering their efforts around January 6 and MAGA extremism.
