I just spoke to Houston North Forrest head coach Clifton Terrell. He confirmed that OL Javonne Shepherd has been dismissed from the team.
Coach Terrell couldn't go into specifics, understandably, but I did ask him if it was a permanent or if it was possible that Shepherd could be back on the team at some point. He said re-reinstatement is a possibility, but there's some things Shepherd would have to work through before being let back on.
Not a good situation, obviously, and one we'll monitor as things move forward.
