Where should I live in Austin area?

Looking to buy a house in Austin area. Need to get to bee caves/Westlake hills area for work. Not a BMD. Budget is around $500K. Considering South Austin or maybe Dripping Springs. Don’t mind a bit of a commute but would prefer 30 min or less if possible. Curious if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks in advance.
