If anyone has posted a good reason why Arch wasn't put in for some meaningful reps, I didn't see it. I think that is a serious error, knowing that we are one 300 pound lineman falling on Ewer's ankle, or a blow to the knee away from putting in QB2, an immensely talented guy, who is unrivaled by any other school's back up, and few schools' starters..he just needs a little experience..and playing for ten minutes after we get ahead of UTSA by fifty points won't equal what he could have gotten today. If Mack had given Garrett Gilbert any meaningful reps in games prior to Alabama when Colt went down, I think we would have won that game, even without Colt. This is a consistent problem at Texas forever...and no, I don't think I'd be a better coach than Sark.
