Driving back from corpus today and at one point I was not allowed to GET on the highway because DPS had it blocked off. I slow down and look over and see a caravan of private buses with motorcycle and DPS suvs escorting them. I manage to get on the highway only AFTER riding the feeder road for a few exits and the I trailed at a distance. I lost interest and pulled over at Van's BBQ for some grub.

Got back on 37 and headed north. I get to I-35 at just after the 410- I35 exchange I get directed off the highway and passed by ANOTHER caravan that's trucking northbound. They were moving.

Then I get to NB and coming the opposite direction was ANOTHER caravan headed south bound.
