Another thread about the Texas win over aggy in 1994 got me thinking. Man, I loved me some James Brown.
That man just knew how to win, and always balled out. Won his first start ever against OU, beat aggy for the last SWC crown (with a bum ankle in their house) and beat Nebraska for the first Big 12 title. He brought an attitude to Texas it had lacked for a long time.
But when talking about Texas greats he is rarely discussed. And I don’t know why. I have watched Texas football since 1988, and I think he was one of the 5 most impactful Texas players during that period.
I really don’t think he gets near the respect he should get in Texas lore.
Who you got?!
