Well, I think he had a Game plan and went over it with everyone before the game..maybe the players wasn't paying attention? The players he suspended, well they broke rules and had to pay their penitence for doing so, now Herman didn't get them False start, unnecessary R, unsportsmanlike delay of game penalty"s

The players just didn't do their jobs, maybe a few did,, a week off didn't help, they lost their Karma, maybe the were Number 6 hype bit them?

We do need to improve, NEED SOME NEW PLAYS, man , I can tell ya what they gonna run before they do and some of you can too..They need to keep the long haired on away from videos, you talk shit, then ya get shit! The Secondary was a Shithole last night, running right past them and they looked like they was waiting on a bus, Hell, weevil coulda done better..

So, there is a shitload of blame to go around, you can coach'em up, but, ya can make them do their job or go out and do it for them..

The D was in wrong coverage some plays, , that"s Orlano's and his D players problem they have to work on that

So, all in all, what the thing was? They didn't realize how hard it is too keep ya ranking after you get there, you got to fight every-week end, not just some

He thought Gundy was talking shit to his players and then found out Gunday was trying to break up the fight and grabbing his player back to bench, Herman I guess went to take up for his, what I hear on other BB's

The melee was television gold. Oh to be a lip reader on this night, but I’m pretty sure Herman wasn’t asking The Mullet if he had any spare bottled water lying round. For his part, Gundy turned toward his fans and raised both hands like Sugar Ray Leonard used to after win. Both later spoke glowingly of the other. Nice and neat like.

We gave up over 200 yards passing in the first quarter, not as much after. Players must be held accountable for themselves and their teammates. They are their brother's keeper. For us fans this was a tough loss, but for them much much tougher. They just lost their dream of going to the playoffs. That first quarter is the difference in this game and I'm hoping it was also a wake up call to these guys to stop playing down to their opponents. I hope we can start blowing people out.

I said at the beginning I thought we would only lose 2 games this year, we won one I thought we would lose, and we lost one I thought we would win. This was one I thought we would lose, and we did. I think focus will be key moving forward, this was a good lesson for the younger guys especially Boyd and Cook. Washington will help them to fix their mistakes.

If he cant get it done then lets not get a few years down the road like OU did with mike stoops. There is zero excuse for this loss and it sits on the defense again.

I think he is referring to our #6 ranking. Our last 3 wins were all decided by 6 or less points. 2 of the 3 teams have losing conference records.

By 'smoke and mirrors' I'm talking about not playing 4 quarters of good quality football and putting teams away when given the chance. It's like we're relying on some magician's trick to win these close games. We've hung on to win several times now when the games should not have been close. The Baylor/Tulsa/OU games are a good examples of this.

Against OSU, we laid an egg in the first quarter and played like crap. That cost us the game. We did the exact same thing against Maryland. No more smoke and mirrors . . . a full 60 minutes a good football is what we need.

It’s a TEAM loss PERIOD. We are a decent football team. Not great. Gundy had our number in the first half, just like he has several times in the past. We missed tackles, took bad angles, and were without two starters during most of the damage. We dropped passes and made a bonehead play on special teams. All those things usually equal a loss, unless you are head and shoulders better than your opponent. We aren’t head and shoulders above anybody YET. The OSU loss and the Maryland loss were soooooo similar. Hyped up opponent who had a fantastic game plan and something to prove. We wet the bed both times. Regroup, fix the mistakes, and come out with your hair on fire against WVU in front of your home crowd. Keep building.
