Texas has been in touch with Smith-Njigba, who has been committed to Ohio State since November of last year. Right now, I'd classify this one as being in the very preliminary stages. Smith-Njigba will probably sit down with his family in the near future and talk about a possible UT visit, but nothing has been set up at this point.
He's obviously listening to the conversations coming from Texas, but I'm told he's still happy with his Ohio State pledge for now. We'll keep an eye on this one and keep you all posted if things heat up. The Rockwall (TX) product is ranked No. 78 on the Rivals100.
