I put down bug killer in my yard pretty regularly because where we live (NW San Antonio near Helotes) we get all kinds of crazy bugs, but these weird nests/whatever the hell these are just started popping up over the last couple days. I stepped on a few yesterday and there’s definitely larvae of some kind in these things. I assume it’s a yard moth/fly of some sort but just wanna be sure it’s not something I should be more concerned about.
I laid down some fresh bug killer in the yard yesterday and it seems to be helping but there is still some activity when I step on them. Hoping that stops over the next few days as the bug killer sets in more. Pretty certain it’s not termites based on internet pics but that’s obviously a major concern so would like to cross that off the list.
