Brought to you by the man who gave us birtherism and who took out this full-page advertisement in the Daily News back in 1989, advocating the death penalty for the Central Park 5 before they were put on trial:
Mind you, DNA results showed that the Central Park 5 did not take part in that crime. In 2002, a man named Matias Reyes confessed to the crime and DNA taken from him matched that taken at the crime scene. The convictions of the Central Park 5 were vacated in 2002. The Central Park 5 sued the city of New York and a settlement of 41 million dollars was reached in 2014. But none of that stopped Trump from saying on the campaign trail in 2016 that they were guilty.
And now he's upset because a wife-beater on his staff was forced to resign because he didn't get due process.
