Yes, we have a club ice hockey team. Currently playing Baylor at Chaparral Ice.

Texas is the FAR better team except in net. Both teams are too busy trying to lay the big hit instead of playing hockey. If Texas would settle down it would be 8-1.

But Texas is up 4-1 in the 2nd period.

Team settled down and smoked an inferior team 10-1 like they should.

Team is on a 10 game win streak and plays A&M next weekend.

So in all my 57 years I can't tell how many hamburger orders. I've received that where wrong. But today takes the cake. I ordered cheeseburger with mustard only. I know real complicated. So when I open my burger it's all the way with toppings and no freaking hamburger patty. How in the hell do you forget the hamburger patty. It blows my mind how people are so stupid or lazy.

Below average card on paper (which means it will probably be amazing) but the main event will be a battle and I’m excited for it. Strickland is an absolute dog, but I think Du Plessis is underrated.

I like reading these threads while the fights are happening, so I figured I’d start it up.

love that we got a recruiting win today but I just can’t get into 2026 recruiting just yet. Love recruiting but can only keep my focus on current year. Full disclosure I absolutely believe I am in the minority here

My FIL recently died from a heart attack. He has only a small amount of money (100,000)to be equally divided amongst the 5 kids. They are listed as beneficiaries. If we go ahead and split this money can the hospitals come back and take it from the kids? Do they normally do that?

Cliffs Notes: The Texas women's basketball team handled its business on the road with a 76-66 win over Oklahoma State in Stillwater.

Game MVP: It's hard to pick just one because the Longhorns had four players score 15+ points in the game, but Madison Booker was terrific in the second half, where she scored 14 of her 19 points, to go along with 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. It was enough do-it-all action that I'm ignoring the 6 turnovers.

If you can't overlook the turnovers: Senior Taylor Jones was pretty terrific as well, scoring 18 points on 7 shots, while also grabbing 14 rebounds.

Key Sequence: The Longhorns opened a close game in the opening stages of the 4th quarter by going on a 10-1 run, which turned a 57-53 game into a 67-54 game, basically serving as a knockout punch.

The First Half Big 3: Shaylee Gonzales (11 points), Taylor Jones (11 points) and Aaliyah Moore (9 points) combined for 31 of UT's 39 first-half points on 12 of 21 shooting, while the rest of the team combined to make 3 of 10 shots from the floor in the first 2 quarters of action. The three ended up combining for 50 points and 23 rebounds for the game.

Bench Production and three-pointers are Overrated: The Longhorns only played eight players and received 0 points on 0 for 2 shooting, 4 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals and 0 blocks from its bench today. Meanwhile, the Longhorns only made 1 of 6 shots from three-point range over 40 minutes of play.

Second Quarter Gut Punch: Oklahoma State gave a good fight in the first half by keeping the game within reach every time it looked like Texas might start to create some separation, but Shaylee Gonzales' jumper in the final seconds of the second quarter provided the Longhorns momentum and a 39-30 lead going into half-time.

Thing You Need to Know: The Longhorns dominated on the glass today, finishing with a 39-25 advantage.

I was recently introduced to these and was so impressed I bought two of the newest Byrna LEs each complete with highend laser sights and aluminum ammo.
