Texas wins the final SWC championship by beating aggy 16-6 in CS. I will never forget how crazy the Drag was afterwards. A friend asked during the mayhem, "Have we ever beaten A&M before?" You wouldn't think it the way people were celebrating. At 4AM I stepped out of my apartment and could still hear the honking horns. It was a huge moment in the series and our football history, snapping a string of 10 wins in 11 tries for the bad guys. We would win 12 of the next 17 before the series was ended.
