Watching the hilarity that is TexAgs, some posts there:

Sark's biggest weakness is his loyalty to a QB trying to get a high draft grade. Ewers is either injured or headscrewed or both- doesn't matter- but the longer he is playing this middling level of football, the longer opposing teams are in the games.
Like it or not, Manning would be an immediate upgrade for them, even in front of 110k screaming Ags. Plus the storyline would be insufferable and nauseating in the event he torches Elko's D with a strong deep ball to elite WRs and the ability to pick up a first with his legs. IMO, Ewers gives the Ags a chance. --LevytpantsEOY

Manning is garbage - Ewers is on half the time -I'd rather play manning's sorry ass --Mr.Fingerbottom

Manning is a 3 star quarterback with a 5 star name. Wait and see. --Stone44

Neither Ewers or Manning are in the same class as AU's Thorne. --RenoHghtower

Ewers getting MRI on ankle. We may suddenly be in the position where we have the advantage at QB. --MaroonFlash

Problem Manning has is his million dollar arm but his 10 cent head. --fc2112

Ewers is starting. We win this game due to a suffocating pass rush --OBJTex

Dont be a wussy. Their O has been mid for large swaths of every game this year. I do like the WR corps, but Georgia made it irrelevant. Ewers will see ghosts. --90Ags

If Ewers starts, and I think he will, we need to sell the farm to get pressure on him. I don't think I've ever seen a QB fold under pressure like that dude. --WayneEHisler

Just look at Texas, which sits at 10-1 heading into a matchup this weekend at Texas A&M that will decide who plays Georgia in the SEC championship game. Is Texas a playoff lock even if it loses? Most likely yes. But when you look under the hood at the Longhorns' record, they haven't beaten a single team currently ranked in the top 25. Their best wins came against 6-5 Oklahoma, 6-5 Vanderbilt, 6-5 Florida and 6-5 Michigan. If they don't beat the Aggies, there will be a legitimate case to exclude Texas from the Playoff altogether. --jrgypsum
