First day of spring practice and a first year coach. So many questions. But you know this is the most talented TX team a 1rst year coach has inherited since Fred Akers took over and yes that includes Mack Brown. I'm mad at coach Herman at what happened last year we all were. Nevertheless we finished 7/3 and ranked 19th. That's a pretty good start for a new coach who just came off a nc team.

I read somewhere when asked about the team they inherited one of them said they were impressed with the skill players and the dl. I guess that's why Drayton and Coleman are still here. I read that they're not as impressed with the lbs I guess that's why Thornton and Oghoufo were brought in. And TX homer thinks that Morice Blackwell will get playing time this year. And then there's Demarvion.

My first thought about the secondary will the new coaches teach them how to turn their heads around and run fast at the same because obviously the previous staff didn't I mean how hard can that be other teams do that all the time. I mean sometimes they looked like a bunch of aggies out there. They did a terrible job at developing the good players they had. Hey Metcalf speaking of slow white safeties who played here dyk that Blake Gideon is the new safeties coach 😅

Well we have a new ol coach and lord knows we've needed a good one for a long time. I think when Majors and Karic started the KSU game there was instant improvement. And when we added Johnson in the CO game we got better. Combined with Jones and Angilou we might have a solid ol. Look we know this guy Flood can recruit but can he develop? If our ol can stop getting 3 to 6 holding/ personal fouls/false starts a game I guarantee we will have a much improved ol. And I will be convinced that Flood will be the ol coach we've been missing.

Look we could talk about the skill players all day. Word around the campfire is the coaches really like Troy Omeire. I hope Jordan Whittington can play this year. In the last 2 games he made some big plays. And this new te and st coach. I've never seen the TX special teams play as bad as they did in the OK game. Ryan Bujcevski career may be over he's had 2 major knee injuries which doesn't bode well when you're a punter. But the next Australian punter is waiting in the wings a kid named Isaac Power. Can Dicker raise his game. One last thing on st. If he can raise Deshawn Jamison's game there's no telling how many tds he'll score. And surely Wiley and even Epps are better than Brewer.

We could talk about the qbs all day. But read that the coaches like what they see with Thompson and Card.

Finally no more twitter wars lets get all the players past and present on board. I hope we don't get a case of returning players not liking the new coaches. All this has got to stop.

And hey if Bijan continues to average 17 ypc like he did in the last 2 games hel* we will definitely win the nc and Bijan will get the Heisman. One last thing. Dyk the other 2 Heisman winners won with a first year coach?

Ok coach Sarkisian. It's T minus 200 days till the 2nd Saturday in October. Lose this game and the honeymoon is over. You're on the clock.
I'm fond of saying a good test of any coach is how well he bounces back from his first RRShootout depantsing. Your last 2 coaches haven't fared so well. So unless Sark is bringing some of that highly paid talent with him from Bama.........Also, Strong said he left the cupboard stocked for the next coach when he left.

The more I read about the secret recordings from the Valdosta Georgia coach, the more I think that literally anybody could score 40 a game with the offensive talent that Bama paid fo......eerrrrrr I mean "recruited".
It is pretty damn interesting. There has to be a reason Saban is able to sit there and collect 5star swamp monster after 5 star swamp monster year after year. I like Saban but who knows what's true

I don't know I read his claims have been disputed.

What are you actually going to talk about fb now? You say you're an OK fan and yet you never talk about them. Ever. What about OK's skill players? I mean why don't you talk about OK fb for once?

Did you expect people to just shrug and say "Well, ya. It's all true."??????? Noooooo man. You think politicians are good liars? They got nothing on head coaches and billionaire boosters.

You remember Spike Dykes he coached at TT for awhile. He once joked that if you're not willing to say or do whatever it takes to win you'll never make it in coaching. He was a funny man.

I'm not familiar with these recordings. Can I get a summary?

So, you’re wanting to discuss OU football on this board? =)roll=)rollI have a feeling you’re in the minority. I have however, noticed you’ve been on a hiatus from your political drivel as of late. Cant blame you hoss, this administration is an absolute joke and is imploding on the world stage. Not much to brag about is there? Embarrassing. By the way, the 2021 Heisman has already been delivered to Rattler’s house.
