Your suffering from that disease I mentioned, huge....huge difference in programs and their recruiting. Nebraska lost its bread and butter in recruiting when they fled to the B1G to escape big bad Texas. Texas is still recruiting well enough to win and win big. The new staff is entering year 3, the point when change is typically noticeable. Nebraska is fading.

If Nebraska was able to hire a premium head coach they could return to prominence. I would agree that they have lost some of their advantages in the past 20 years. That also coincides with the departure of Osborne, one of the greatest coaches of the past 50 years. Nick Saban or Urban Meyer could bring a national title to Lincoln.

Whats better is the record 61-5-44 over OU. Head to Head you are behind,which makes you #2 in Texas eyes no matter how many conference championships you have.I have to give Switzer credit for recruiting the black athletes back in the 70's which gave Ou the edge but that is no longer the case as most schools have caught up in this area.I might add Texas has more overall wins in football than Ou so do you consider that elite enough.

Everyone knows what that means. The problem is when the person says "never" and "highly unlikely" within the same paragraph when speaking of the same thing. Those two descriptions do not correlate the same meaning, and only highlights that persons inconsistencies when attempting to speak intelligently about their own feelings/opinions about a specific topic.
