BASEBALL WEEKEND SERIES THREAD: No. 3 Texas avoids a sweep and Pete Hansen is now the Sunday starter (Sun. 7:10 p.m.)

Kennedy bounces one to third. Force out at home but Kennedy beats the throw to first. One down and bases loaded.

Faltine gets a changeup left over the plate and hits a high, deep fly ball to RCF. For the first time all weekend, Carter can't come up with the run-saving, great grab. UT scores two runs to take a 3-2 lead one out B2. Two RISP.

This inning might end up being the most important of the regular season.

Antico watches a 2-2 fastball barely miss to bring the count full. He then fouls another fastball out of play. Antico does his job by lifting a ball into LF for a sac fly. 4-2 Texas B2 two outs and runner on second.

Fly out to CF that Antico made interesting because of the sun and sky.

Hansen gets Fulford swinging on a slider. Fulford has major issues with spin.

Kennedy watches a hard liner fall in front of him... better read off the bat and he should make that play. Two down, runner on first.

My point is they've dominated weaker competion but struggled with equal competion. I'm in no way insinuating that this is a bad team, but not sure it's a great team. Time will tell
How can you say they struggle when they’ve won every series and beat a top 25 team on the road last weekend? Of course they’re not gonna play as well as they would against the ACU’s of the world but they’ve always founded ways to get it done outside of this weekend. We’re not the only team to lose a series this year. Hopefully they’ll get the win today and win the series in FW next week, which definitely won’t be easy
