Question - does anyone really think the Texas Legislature should be spending their time on the Bathroom Bill (Senate Bill 6), proposed by Dan Patrick today?

There's corporate resistance to this already, and threats by sports and event-related happenings that come to Texas. The NCAA, for example, is sending questionnaires to states about their policies, but haven't come out to state specifically how they will respond. Could San Antonio not have the Final Four? The NBA already showed how they'll respond by moving the All-Star game last year out of North Carolina.

Regardless of which side you fall on, IS this a pressing issue we're facing? Would it even be on lawmakers radars if I Am Kate wasn't on TV recently?
