Most are still too embarrassed at the colossal mistake they made in getting Orangeman out of office but behind the scenes they can't wait to atone for their sins in the next election. With American soldiers being over there it makes it much trickier for Putin to do something. He now knows there's a chance of killing an American. Putin is probably fine with wiping out Ukrainians but the stakes get much higher if Americans are mixed in there. Biden is using American troops as a human body shield to deter Putin.
