@speedstrength -- Biden is trying to walk back his "ban on federal land drilling" and doing a terrible job of it. Because in 2020, when oil companies RUSHED to file for as many drilling permits as they could (record numbers) they knew they would be grandfathered in once Biden took office and banned federal lease drilling. So their plate was filled in Dec of 2020 with so many leases, they could drill at their own pace and wait out the Buden restrictions.
