Look, it is what it is. Texas gave a much higher ranked Sooner team all they could handle, and then some, on the road, without their best player. The msg has been sent, Shaka is for real. I won't blame it on the refs, but I will say this. A foul leads to free throws, a rebound doesn't. I'd also repeat, it doesn't look right when one player gets more free throws than the whole opposing team. Still, good game, see you in heaven. (Austin)

In any case, for the sake of accuracy, Texas fans only complained about OSU -- not Cal or Tech (the other close losses), and not WVU (the game that could have gone the other way but for Texas's absurd number of turnovers). And the complaints on the uncommonly outrageous officiating in the OSU game were echoed by media observers from around the country.

Umm the announcers I listened to said it was a ridiculous call. And UT fans don't hold a candle to blowu fans in this regard. Not in the same universe.

Overall I think we take a slight step back next season from the team we will field in March, we are going to miss Taylor and what a top notch PG does for a team

But the young guys on the team now (a long with the recruiting class we will be bringing in) are going to be the class of the conference in 2 years
