SAN ANTONIO – Media members were given a very brief window to watch Texas on Saturday. During the time span, we saw stretching and special teams. However, we were not around for any team drills, or ones vs ones.

Here are a few things I saw during that limited window:

--- I previously reported that Texas is switching to a four-man front for the bowl game, and those starters from left to right are Malcolm Roach, Ta’Quon Graham, Keondre Coburn and Moro Ojomo. It is hard to tell how they looked together because they were not going at full speed.

--- The second-team four-man front featured linebacker Joseph Ossai lining up as an edge rusher on the left side, Roach and Jamari Chisholm on the inside, and T’Vondre Sweat as the right defensive end. In addition, I also saw linebacker Byron Vaughns as an edge rusher on the left side, Jamari Chisholm and Sweat on the inside, and Marquez Bimage as the right defensive end.

--- Running back Jordan Whittington was suited up at practice. I did not see him participate in drills, but he wore a uniform, stretched with the team, and jogged around the field.

--- Receiver Collin Johnson was practicing at full speed. He appears to be as close to 100 percent as he has been in a while.

--- Running back Roschon Johnson took a few direct snaps on run plays. Again, it was hard to gauge how well that play looked at half speed.

--- Tim Beck was still coaching quarterbacks during practice. He was in his normal practice role with Sam Ehlinger and Casey Thompson.
