I’ve been burned by Shaka so many times in the past. I was one of the last to lose hope with him as our coach and tried to stay positive as long as possible until he gave me no choice but to face the music and admit it just wasn’t gonna happen with him coaching our team. I had resigned to the belief that we needed to move on, we just weren’t going to win anything of substance with him leading the way.
Having said all that..... I’m back baby! This is a top 15 team and this is the year that we make a run in the tourney! I predict an Elite 8 run at minimum and I also predict we’re playing Baylor in the conference championship game when the time comes. This team has too much talent, depth, and experience to not put it together this year. This is the year we finally see real progress and have hope with Shaka leading the way. Let’s go!!!!
