The following are the changes made on the projected spring football depth chart from the original projection I put out a month ago. These are not necessarily moves as they are being made on the football staff's internal depth chart, but they are representative of things we're hearing from behind the scenes.
DEFENSE (click image to enlarge)
UPDATES FROM V.1 (1-16-18)
- Andrew Fitzgerald removed and will be projected to offense at TE.
- Kobe Boyce now projected as potential co-starter with Davante Davis at the corner opposite Kris Boyd.
- Jeffrey McCulloch from OLB (B-Backer) to potential co-starter at inside mike LB with Anthony Wheeler.
- Ta'Quon Graham bumped from second-string to projected starter at strong end/3-tech.
- Charles Omemihu moved from outright starter at strong end to potential co-starter with Breckyn Hager at weak end.
- Malcolm Roach projected from weak DE to B-backer.
- Jamari Chisolm moved from third-string nose to second-string strong end.
- Edwin Freeman projected at either the inside rover LB OR the B-backer.
- Demarco Boyd moved from third-string mike to potential co-second-string rover.
