Dak for Deshaun?

Given Houston's issues with Deshaun and Jerry's opining that Dak has all the leverage, why not swap those problems?

Why would Dak agree to that? He’s either getting a long term contract to stay with the Cowboys or getting tagged and traded. If it’s the latter he can just tell his agent to tell Houston that he wouldn’t be signing an extension with them.
Prescott is "show me the money".

First: NO.
Second: Dak isn't going to agree to any of this.

Third: Hell, no.

I guess this is a troll, but taken on its face I’m not following why this would interest the Texans. The Dolphins and a couple of other franchisees are likely to make a blockbuster offer loaded with draft picks.

Watson is better, and under control for 5 more seasons. Dak is 1 year away fromfree agency.

LOL. Watson is not a better QB than Dak. Hilarious.

Watson is a playmaker. Dak has an abundance of weapons in Dallas. What does Watson have? You traded his best receiver Hopkins to Arizona. He is playing behind a God awful O-line.

Interest the Texans??? The Cowboys would laugh at this. Dak is the better QB and isn’t under such a huge contract. If the Cowboys were willing to shell out $160mm they would simply sign the better player.

Disagree.

Why would the Texans do that? O'Brien is gone, so I would hope that type of decision making is done.
Deshaun is pissed about pretty much everything and can see that Houston will go nowhere during his prime. I can see him being okay with a trade. He's already been linked to Miami. I don't think Jerry wants to overpay Dak. Just seems like a logical solution to two problems.

I like Watson much, much more than Dak.
Just don’t think Dak is better than “average” for NFL starting QB’s.

And you’ll have to give Dak an absolutely massive contract to keep him happy, as he’s just about to FA and is demanding $40M+ annually.

I think it would have to be Dak + multiple high round picks.

Lol Watson is not going anywhere
Pre-June Watson's cap hit is 21 mil ; post-June it is 5.6 mil. Both are doable. If you're a billionaire owner, would you put up with a player dictating who you hire as GM and/or coach? I think he's gone.

Exactly. These Texans fans are so darn cute in their fantasy world. Hilarious.

Sure. It really doesnt matter. Both organizations are a mess and neither is winning anything any time soon.
Agree with that. To me, the first step for Dallas is to bite the bullet and get rid of their head coach and help UT by hiring Riley, Saban or Day.
