Damn Shaka... just be nice...we made you RICH

He's not wrong, Texas fans are a little harder to impress than VCU fans. Having a dedicated network that airs every home game doesn't do any favors for attendance either.

there are games where we have literally dozens of fans. that's not a potshot. and before anybody say "have a better team", barnes had plenty of good teams and it was the same situation. i don't view it as a cheap shot.

having said that, that isn't why he failed. it didn't hurt recruiting. he was bad at coaching basketball. he seems like a good dude-- hope he gets back to his junkyard dog roots and does well. but as for here, i know what i saw. and it was bad.

Spot on . . . his VCU "havoc" style was all about being a junkyard dog. The junkyard dog became a Shih Tzu at UT.

Dude is butthurt and lashing out.
Hey Shaka, that is what an actual "slap in the face" is. Let me educate you Shaka on what a "slap in the face" is NOT. When people legally go to the polls and exercise their constitutional right to vote in who they think will lead them in the best direction, is not a "slap in the face". I was insulted by that idiotic comment, but I had let it go because I wanted you to succeed at Texas. Don't go away mad, just go away.

PS, My sincere condolences to Marquette.
