Dear aggies

when they go 6-6 this year those recruits wont still be there.
before i sound like a biased homer...that goes for us too. If we dont win at least 9 games we will see recruits drop . I just think Aggy will win 6 tops this year.

5 star receiver from Alabama that didn’t have Bama or Georgia pursuing. Something $eem$ off in that recruitment lol.

Aggies just got a 5* WR. For the life of me I can’t understand why they would do that. The money can’t be that good can it?
We play them next year and many believe that we are finally getting our shit together which makes Aggies worry. Don't underestimate their boosters hatred for us and what lengths they are willing to go to beat us. I assume their fundraising pitch is as simple as "If you don't contribute more money then tu is going to kick our ass again. You don't want that to happen do you!!" They probably aren't done landing a couple of players that don't make any sense to people on the outside.

Great video on Jordan Washington.

He said A&M is still trying to recruit him and they are still texting him (last 2 minutes of the video). I thought Aggies backed off and didn’t want him 😂😂

NIL money is going to be similar with all teams that have money. You can't tell me that Texas boosters aren't pulling out the bags as well as they get ready to venture into the SEC. I know A&M is offering up NIL deals..so is Texas and every other big school that has money. Texas knows where they are headed and if you think kids are coming to Austin because of "culture" and great coaches then send me your number to get some of what you are having. For the last 10 years A&M has done a good job of recruiting and built a bigger brand outside of Texas...they just can't coach or play worth a shit.

I agree, just answering his question of why a WR with no connection to A&M would pick A&M over others. It's all about money now days and if a school gets desperate they will break the bank on certain players. I'm glad you see it for what it is now, unlike Luicci who is still drumming up the old lines about how the players want to build something special and all that mess. It wasn't long ago that Jimbo threw an embarrassing tantrum because Saban said they were paying players. That didn't age very well.

If/when Aeryn Hampton commits to Texas today. Texas will have 8 commits ranked in the top 300. Aggies only have 6. And Aggies have a “top 10” class.

Poor Aggie!!!!

Well, he does have family in Bryan as well as Houston. He visited A&M 3 times in the spring, so he wasn't blind to A&M. I'm not saying NIL doesn't have something to do with it, but he did have some connection with family there.

You want me to watch an hour and a half debate between to fvcking nerds about a sport both of them never played?

That's like me debating my little brother over the merits of tampons vs maxi-pads.
Nah after 5 min the debates over lol

It was over for me when the Sheep F$&ker said Manziel was better than Vince and it wasn’t even close.

Aggies love to complain about the "Texas bump" in recruiting, that a HS commit gets a bump after committing to Texas. Well low and behold, On3 just bumped up the entire Aggie class yesterday! Their 3* QB commit, Miles O Neill, jumped up 500 spots to a 4*, and is now the #58 player in their country per On3. 247, ESPN, and Rivals all list him as a 3* lol. They had like 3-4 other 3*'s that are now 4*'s.

Something tells me Aggie wont be complaining about the Texas bump anymore! Nothing to see here!!

Yes. And out of the top 125 nationally, we have 4 and you have 1.

No offense I hope. Just saying stats like that can be manipulated in lots of ways. We both still have to sign them, get them to campus, and keep them.

Does anyone else think that this is a complete disaster waiting to happen? And I’m here for it!!!

Jimbo Fisher on who will be calling plays this fall: "You are still involved in what goes. I'm not trying to avoid anything. Bobby (Petrino) was hired for a reason. He is a tremendous mind. Hopefully, he will call the game. Every coach is always involved."

This is going to.blow up mid season.

Yea for the HC to say "hopefully" the new OC will call the game doesnt sound very good at all lol. Can you imagine what Petrino's thinking right now? Like what did I get myself into!!
so i guess jumbo went on another interview and "cleared" things up.. said he will be involved in the gameplan, then its BP's to call. we'll see, i dont buy it.

It will blow up at some point this year. If the offense does good then they will be fighting over who gets the credit, if the offense is bad then they will be fighting over who gets the blame. Jimbos post game press conferences should be interesting this year.

"Hopefully" means Jimbo hopes Petrino will fall in line and call the play he tells him to. If not he'll get the hook.

seems like lots of folks spend lots of time worrying about aggy....I dont care what aggy does.We have not been so stellar over the last 10 years that we can make fun of anyone. I enjoy aggy misery as much as the next guy, but let's not sit here and think we are immune to dumbassery in coach hiring ourselves....

I dont care if Sark loses every game this year, I will continue to make fun of Aggie until they do something note worthy.

I wasnt referring to Sark...Charlie Strong came to mind....I think we finally did it right this time.

Aggies are melting down over this article lololol.

Texas A&M's home field advantage deemed a 'myth' by one SEC writer

Toppmeyer looked at SEC team winning percentages since 2012 (when the conference expanded to 14 teams) to unearth the best home-field advantage. South Carolina (1), Florida (2), and Auburn (3) round out the top three, while heavyweights such as Georgia (8) and Alabama (12) are further down below.

As for the Aggies and Kyle Field, they ranked dead last at No. 14, behind the likes of Vanderbilt, who sit second-to-last:

“Kyle Field towers in size, but the Home of the 12th Man doesn’t create an advantage to equal its branding. When you include the Aggies’ neutral-site results against Arkansas, Texas A&M is the SEC’s only team that has a better record (27-22) in non-home conference games the past 11 seasons than it does in SEC home games (21-19).”
