Here's my theory--
Kids these days are dumb as sh!t. I mean stooopid. I've had conversations with children of family friends of late-- some that were in "gifted" academic programs-- and not one of them (all in high school) can name the 7 continents. Not a one.
But every damn one of them could kick my ass up between my shoulder blades when it came to social media understanding.
Sark needs to hire coaches that can push the social media presence of the kids. Have the ability to build them a following and you're going to get better kids.

Well Blake Gideon couldn't play safety we should know he played for us. So I don't expect him to coach it.
He’s actually turned in to quite the ST’s coach. If he’s on staff and I think he makes a lot of sense for Sark that would be his main focus. Although I will say. Ability to play does not equate to ability to coach. Most coaches were mediocre players at best
Well Bill Belicheck wasn’t very good at football so he wouldn’t make a good football coach right? That’s so ridiculous. Do you know how many coaches there are that played football at the collegiate or professional level that weren’t very good? Some guys have extremely high football IQs but just don’t have what it takes to make it as a player.
And Mike Singletary would have won 5 super bowls as a coach if that is all it took to be a good coach........
If you can't do... When I was a boy, the Rangers hired Ted Williams as manager. He was terrible, couldn't understand everyone else couldn't just hit the ball.
Yep. Especially in football. I can’t think of anyone in the recent past who was a really great player who is now a good coach... I can’t think of them off the top of my head
Good grief it was just a toss out funny. If one of our own can come home and be a good coach that's great.
You said in another post that bedroom activities were the only thing getting you through the never-ending lockdown. If you’re frustrated, you may need to turn it up a notch.

Well I don't there's any question that we need a great ol coach. I think we may finally have a solid ol to build on. I'm especially looking forward to watching Karic and especially Majors. We talk why did it take so long to start BR well why did it take so long to start Majors? But I'm going to wait and see we still have 8 months to go.
Bell....dont ever quit being you....in fact the rumor I heard was Riley was thinking that he needs to step it up a notch on his staff to get over the hump...He is trying to find a spot for Blake....

I'm going to trust this hire. I think CDC had to make a move and with what was available it was a solid hire. If Sark can get the past players on boardand hit some recruiting home runs with the open spots we have left, we can get some momentum headed into next year.

Herman had to go. His own players disliked him so much they were telling recruits not to come.
And that's a part of the longhorn fb culture problem. We've had Mack's guys vs Charlie's guys and Charlie's guys vs Tom's guys. Some of these twitter back and fourth between these guys has been nasty. I do know that Jerrod Heard advised J'Tavion Sanders not to come to TX. See what I mean?
So SS is having a zoom meeting with former players? If it goes well this can be a start in the right direction and put an end to it because this is killing us.
Bo Davis is coming on board. Who do you think the DC is. I'm going on a limb here and stating it Muschamp but he is waiting on his buyout to be completed before he publicly states that he is taking the DC job at Texas. I'm liking this defensive staff.
That very well could be re muschamp
Keep an eye out for Dan Quinn as DC
Reports have said that Muschamp is not coming, unless new reports have recently came out
