Malcolm Brown was just named the Rams starting RB. Whom among this pile of crap would you drop for Brown (if anyone). PPR 12 team league.

Los Angeles Rams RB Malcolm Brown is expected to begin the season as a starter over Cam Akers, according to SI.com's Eric D. Williams.

This is an interesting development as many expect the rookie Akers to get the nod as the starter. Now, at the end of the day both are going to be used and Akers has a better all-around skill set. Brown is a classic banger between the tackles and he's got a low center of gravity which makes him tough to bring down. Akers is a hard-charging runner and can make plays as a receiver out of the backfield. This could be the dreaded 'hot hand' approach, especially when Darrell Henderson is healthy and also part of the mix.

I’d drop Kelley. He’s third on the depth chart. I wouldn’t count on Brown being the starter for long in LA though.

I don't know think Kelley is third. He was already battling Justin Jackson for the #2 role - even before Jackson got injured.

I'd drop Kelley, Harris was getting some run before pinky injury. Assuming this is PPR, where white and Thompson will be the receiving threats for their respective teams.

Akers will likely be the starter at some point in the season. Brown is more familiar with the offense right now, but Akers upside is much higher.

At best they're in a timeshare for number 2 carries. A backup splitting carries with another backup doesn't return much value. Thompson and White are gonna have 3rd down roles so I think they're a no brainer to keep. So it comes down to Harris and Kelley. I'd keep Harris but it's a tossup and probably won't matter much at the end of the year.

I already have Harris and Kelley. The question is, do I drop one of them to pick up Malcolm Brown. And to be honest, I'm not dropping Harris. He's injured right now after having surgery on his pinky but he was doing so well in camp (reportedly) that it's not hard to imagine him coming back and becoming the lead back.

I realize you already have Harris and Kelley. Not sure what part of my post implied that I thought otherwise. I said I'd drop Kelley if I were to drop one and keep Harris on my team. As I mentioned in my original post I dont think Brown will be the starter for long in LA anyway. If you're set on dropping someone for Brown it would be Kelley for me but I don't think I would drop any of them because I think Akers will eventually be the focal point of the backfield.

He will only be a starter for a few weeks and he is going to suffer a significant timeshare to Akers.
