Five-star offensive lineman took a multi-day visit to Texas on Thursday and Friday and things couldn't have gone much better.
Steve Sarkisian stressed to Ojo during the visit that he's the top player on their board and he's their "franchise player" should Ojo choose the Longhorns. Ojo tells OB he loved watching Kyle Flood at practice and he and his family really connected with the Texas staff overall. He was joined by both his parents on the visit in addition to his two younger siblings.
Texas stressed to Ojo that staying in-state is his best option and he said that really resonated with his parents. Also, Ojo said that staying in-state is appealing to him and he mentioned that growing up Texas was his "dream school" (is that good or bad?).
I'll have more from Ojo in my 3-2-1 tomorrow but I continue to feel that Texas is setting the pace in this recruitment.
