I'm not expecting anything from Bond... I hope I'm pleasantly surprised, but he should have been put on ice the first time he went down... he'd be back to 100% by now.
Yeah, to me, we are going to have to take chances in this game and that means roll with Blue and see if he can hold onto the ball while outrunning dudes to the pylon. Curious about the buckeye nickel guy and how good he is. Shirley there is a mismatch somewhere. If we're going to be successful on offense, it's almost surely going to be these guys having big days:
If you want a wildcard to throw in, it's DeAndre Moore, who has actually had some big games this year.
- Ewers
- Golden
- Helm
- Wisner
- Blue
This is how I see it as well. We kept playing him when he was at about 40%. It hindered his recovery and it also completely shut down the offense. He couldn’t block and he couldn’t run routes. Really damn frustrating.I'm not expecting anything from Bond... I hope I'm pleasantly surprised, but he should have been put on ice the first time he went down... he'd be back to 100% by now.
Bond will be like our secret agent.

The “nickel” resource and player for OSU has most recently been Caleb Downs, an absolute stud. Might be tough sledding over the middle this week, especially for Helm.Yeah, to me, we are going to have to take chances in this game and that means roll with Blue and see if he can hold onto the ball while outrunning dudes to the pylon. I figured he was a safety, interesting that he has been nickel. Really curious how Sark will try to attack this team. The “nickel” resource and player for OSU has most recently been Caleb Downs, an absolute stud. Might be tough sledding over the middle this week, especially for Helm.
lately he's been more like a Jethro Bodine double naught spyHe's been so diminished of late, and Golden so solid-to-spectacular, that many might be overlooking the impact Bond can have in stretching defenses. If he is anything like back to normal, we could see an explosive or two from him. I just hope Quinn will throw some long balls with a bit less air under them and get the ball out in front where the receivers can go get them
He is a safety in name, but lately has been playing the normal nickel domains. And has been a terror at it. Middle of the field within 10-15 yards of LOS.I figured he was a safety, interesting that he has been nickel. Really curious how Sark will try to attack this team.
