We’re a basketball school at the moment and I’m fine with that. This is such a good defensive team. If they continue to shoot they’ll be hard to stop.
How do you know Andrew Jones is in the zone? After burying a three to reach 18 points, next trip down the floor he fired a tough pick-and-roll pass to Royce Hamm, who got fouled.
We're really tough in that basically 2-3 zone where we switch on screens bc it's not a problem if Kai Jones or Sims ends up on a guard.
Someone scoffed at me in an earlier thread when I called Cunningham and Hamm valuable to this team. These guys are junk yard dogs and all over the place again, especially Cunningham.
Hamm will get back to contributing more consistently... the COVID time off made him rusty.
Brock is always hustling... love his game. Just needs to hit that three a little more often.

I'm fine with Shaka. I've been fine with Shaka all along. I expect he's going to continue to recruit well and be more successful going forward.
Not a good start by Texas. Getting beat on the offensive glass and Jones dribbled the ball off his foot out of bounds.
Shaka forced to burn an early timeout and he's irate about the defense. Poor start to 2H by Texas.

Texas leads 51-45 2H 16. After a poor start to the half, Texas settled in. Buckle up. This one is going to be an entertaining battle the rest of the way.
The way Texas Tech is playing defense in the wings/corners, Texas is putting the ball there on purpose and creating a possible mismatch with Coleman or getting the ball into the paint off PNR or low post to Sims.
