- RB D'Onta Foreman was limited at Tuesday practice but we're told it's a very minor issue that occurred in Saturday's scrimmage. Apparently, Foreman is dealing with bruised ribs which are minor in the scheme of things, but can be painful.

- It should be expected that the staff treat its best player on offense (and arguably on the team) with kid gloves during spring, so it won't be unexpected to see Foreman's participation in team drills and exposure to live defenses minimized, at least for the time being.

- It was a full-pads practice, the tenth of the spring. Practices have been in full pads exclusively starting at practice No. 3. There may not be a shorts-and-shoulder pads session again before the spring game due to having at least one day between each for recovery thanks to the new schedule.

- S Dylan Haines remains out with what we're told is a "deep cut," the staff may just hold him out for the remainder of the spring. Kevin Vaccaro again started practice with the first group, but we were told that by the end of practice, Deshon Elliott was taking most of the reps with the ones.

- DE Bryce Cottrell is out of the pit and back working with the team. He reportedly took some first-team reps but so did Charles Omenihu. Regardless of how reps are split up this spring, it's seems clear Omenihu has officially made the move to SDE after playing FOX last season and will figure into the snap-percentages significantly barring injury in 2016.

- Anthony Wheeler is inching closer to taking over a starting ILB role. We were told he got more reps than ever with the first-team on Tuesday.

- Shane Buechele had a few chances to show off his running in team drills and looked much more effective than expected. The source said he was "making guys miss" as a runner.

- DT Paul Boyette is apparently back at practice but still working mostly behind Chris Nelson at the nose.
