Game MVP: Senior Aaliyah Moore scored 17 points on 6 of 9 shooting, while grabbing 14 rebounds and dishing out three assists and committing zero turnovers.
Bench Bravado: The Longhorns came into the game with the 2nd-best bench scoring in the nation (behind South Carolina) and the young freshmen that make up so much of the bench combined to score 41 points, led by Justice Charlton (15 points) and Jordan Lee (13 points)
Soooo Important: The Longhorns don't have a myriad of three-point shooters on the squad, so the value of true freshman Jordan Lee can't be stressed enough because on a night when Texas was otherwise 0 of 13 from downtown going into the 4th quarter with a 68-49 win, Lee hit 4 of 7 to sort of calm everything down with regards to the outside shooting. There are nights when Shay Holle will make shots, but when she doesn't, Lee gives Texas an insurance policy that might prove to be season-saving at some point.
Making History: With 6 assists on Sunday, Rori Harmon crossed the 600-assist mark and is only 4 assists from taking over the No.2 spot in career assists for the Longhorns. She's one of only 2 players in UT history to record 1,000+ points and 600+ assists.
Where Was MadI: Do-it-all star Madison Booker had one of her quieter nights of the season, scoring only three points (1 of 9 shooting), 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 fouls. It was just one of those nights.
