The UT campus is in the bluest county in Tx. I say since they tore down all them statues, is it possible the university could relocate to a county more in line with Texan culture, or is the university itself infected with the liberal ideology?

Will do. I’ve lived in Austin on four different occasions, from the 70s, 80s, 90s, to early 2000. I believe the post does relate to the post regarding the band. It’s about the woke culture that’s affecting The University as well as the city of Austin. Profuse apologies if I was out of line.😗

I loved living there all my life until I came back and then the computer people hit it and the yankees and messed it up with all their BS, all that Cali and Yanlee political BS that was the way they came from, my son still lives ther and its not Austin anymore,its a shit hole where they destroy everything I grew up with that was good, a good place to raise ya family and good Police protection and Fire services, you knew ya neighbor and could leave ya front door open at night and kids could FB in the streets at night under the street lights, all the goodness is gone, its a shit hole filled with crime, now ya know who's fault it was....

Agreed. Left Austin four years ago. Lived up near Lake Travis near The Oasis. Worked from home, so I didn’t have to “suffer the fools” than have overtaken and ruined what was once one of, if not THE BEST cities in the country. Been rooting for the Horns since the mid-60s. Attended UT right out of HS, dropped out and then returned almost two decades later to earn my degree in ‘91. Last visited the campus on my way out of town for good back in the summer of 2017. Even the Drag across from campus looked like a sh*t hole. Sadly, probably never going back.
