I find this news shocking and disappointing. The family was one of the last true producers in Hollywood who wanted to protect their IP over selling out, resisting Amazon at every turn over the last several years. And now there's this new 'joint ownership?' It sounds like Amazon simply bought creative control away. I'm not sure if that's what the family wanted-more money-all along, or if this was part of some ongoing negotiation that was strong armed into this. Either way, it means three things: (1) New Bond properties will come alot sooner now, (2) There will be a lot more 'content', and (3) It will never be the same.
