On what planet is it delusional to think A&M would go between 4-8 and 7-5 with a Big 12 schedule? Considering out of the 16 seasons A&M played in the Big 12, ten of those seasons fell between 4-8 and 7-5. Actually it would be more delusional to expect something else when over 60% of the time that was A&M's record.

We've been over this a million times, Texas has a tougher ranked schedule than A&M this year. Your drivel about a good team making the playoffs is senseless. Yes everyone and their dog knows A&M will lose to Clemson and Alabama. There are still more losable games for A&M on Texas' schedule than on A&M's schedule.

Actually that is incorrect now that some games have been played. ESPN's SOS index is for REMAINING games. So from square one before season Texas had the #4 toughest schedule and I think A&M was #23 or so.

Anybody who thinks your 2018 schedule is more difficult than ours is wrong. I don't care what ESPN thinks either. I see a lot of folks saying you'll go 8-4 and we'll go 7-5.
So let's say you get beat by OU, TCU, USC, and Okie State. And we get beat by Clemson, Bama, Auburn, Mississippi State, and South Carolina. If you think the teams that will likely beat you guys are better than our likely loses, well I refuse to believe you are that biased. It must be something else.

So when WV beats a bad Tennessee team, it means they are special. If Tech beats Ole Miss are they special too? I don't know who wins that one, probably the team that punts.

If TCU beats Ohio State, that would be a big deal. Isn't happening, but it would be impressive.

Why not be honest and say you are playing lots of pretty good teams, but only one really good team.

By the way, if you played our schedule I'd guess you'd win 7. Would get smacked by Clemson, Auburn, & Bama. Would get beat by Mississippi State and either South Carolina or LSU.

7-5 with our schedule would be your record IMHO. Might be 6-6 and could be 8-4. I think u probably go 8-4 with your schedule. We have 2 and maybe 3 teams on our schedule better than anybody you guys play!

I don’t think Jimbo will ever win a national title at A&M and I do think he’s overrated a bit, but I do think he’s capable of making A&M the 3rd team behind Bama and auburn, and maybe eek out a division every now and again. Is that worth 75 mill? Depends on who you are I guess.
