Ketch -- Friendly suggestion: I think you and your staff need to be fully transparent with us about what's going on here, who's doing what, name names, and why you think they're doing it. I think you need to write a story about what's going on and why, who the principals are, get quotes/statements from the people involved, etc, and post it. Don't just "let it die." Own the story before someone else sniffs around. You and others at OB are journalists here. I expect that kind of transparency and accountability from this site. That's what separates you/et. al. from the regular, online blogging masses. If the SID messed up, tell us what happened, who did it and why. It's not your job to protect them, regardless of whatever reason they give you. I mean, the integrity of your publication was being messed with here.

Between this, the sexual harrasment scandal, a prominant member of our incoming class taking visits to SEC country, Muschamp leaving, most of our coaching staff getting fired, and a 5-7 season, I'm beginning to think there's some merit to the idea that Mack made a deal with the devil in 2005.
Has anyone stopped to consider that Ketch himself might be involved in some of the "planting" in this thread?

AirCoryell/TXSID really dropped the ball on this one. If this is really a insider at Belmont they have either been leaking true info on their own or throwing out smoke screens to confuse everyone... He's either doing his job or in BIG BIG BIG trouble once Geoff pin points what happened.

Ketch has multiple "deep throats". Whether the coaching staff and university likes it, the program is full of fluffers and leaks.
AC was spreading that big smoke screen that I'm sure Mack has wanted out there since Ketch, et al broke the Davis news. Again, Ketch wouldn't have gotten pissed with a someone confirming what he said. But that AC was saying contradictory things to what Ketch has heard from his sources, and then goes on his SID moniker saying the EXACT same thing, it all but confirms the paranoia of the Staff.
If Ketch doesn't somebody else will. Too good of a story for it not to be investigated. There are other journalists that have access to this site. JMO

Would love to know all the details but not sure you can argue the integrity aspect. This is a message board where basically everyone is anonymous. Integrity of the staff maybe but I don't think that carries over to the posters.
