Just Throwing this out to lurking aggys--

I read through this shit and it just warms my heart to know that aggy is waking up and is just miserable. I expect them to talk with other ags about this and say "yeah well Georgia wasn't up for the game" all while they thought sec sec sec. The blatant idiocy of their comments just confirms that aggy doesn't know football.

All I took from that is that there were 49 pages of posts for a game that they weren't playing in.....holy crap!

And when they lose to uga and we beat lsu.... =)roll

When are the geniuses going to figure out that Big 12 offenses/defenses are optimized to eviscerate plodders?

I love it when aggy posts "in a meaningful bowl" as if they've made one. So if they don't count then none of their wins in bowls count period cause what "meaningful bowl" game have they ever reached? I'm loving this shit! Aggy you suck and the sec sec sec chest bumping is stupid. Be proud of your own accomplishments instead of riding alleybamas or in this case hoping the pups would beat us... pathetic.

Homerun post!

Am I the only one that thinks if Sam wins a conference championship or two next two years will go down as one of the great UT QB's? Not because of his stats or anything like that but because of his demeanor and the way he loves being a Longhorn. I just see him as being one of those guys that 30-40 years from now us folks will think back extremely fondly of.

need to find Sam some quality running backs to keep his body healthy the next one or two years

While we were good on the Oline this year and last night was awesome, a great o-line can make average RB's (***) look NFL ready. We need to focus on the trenches. I like that they are looking for players with quickness/agility and large frames that can hold muscle... not so much fat. It will take time to build the lines out with depth but year 2 with a Sugar Bowl win is phenomenal.

There is a post on Texags where someone is saying they are gonna run the table next year and win it all. They are in full meltdown mode because we destroyed their Sec arguments for a year=)roll

No one is in meltdown mode. You guys had a nice victory over a Georgia team that did not want to be there and had guys sitting out. It is what it is. Much the same way Florida took Michigan to the woodshed. This happens every year (Utah/Alabama, OU/Alabama with Trevor Knight, UCF/Auburn, UH/FSU...). Often times those teams above with the big victories were pretty much back to normal the next year. Maybe the case is different with you guys. And I do not know any Aggies that think we will run the table. Most are thinking anywhere from 8-4 to 10-2. We have four really hard games and three are on the road. We went 9-4 in year 1 with Jimbo and cleaned up in recruiting. Most Aggies give the season an A, but no one is saying we will run the table.

aggy and $EC fan had their excuses ready either way for a Georgia win or loss. If UGA won, it would have been, "the $EC is so dominant/we told you how big and bad $EC teams are". If Texas won, "well Georgia wasn't motivated and didn't really want to be there". The bottom line is Texas kicked Georgia's ass up and down the field all night. It wasn't even close. You can crow all you want, but Texas' win over Georgia is a much better win than a&m's win over NC State. Also, Texas had a more impressive overall season than aggy.

a&m had a decent season. 8-4 is the norm for aggy. Rinse and repeat every year. Next year, a&m will be damn lucky to go 8-4, again which is par for the gomers.

Texas > a&m. Always has been. Always will be.

Hook'em!

We had plenty of guys in our secondary out or banged up so that excuse is invalid! We whipped up on the second best team in the most overrated conference in football and you Aggies can’t stand it. Every other thread on Texags is about us Horns. Go back and look at all the predictions you guys had before the game that said Georgia was gonna destroy us and there was no chance we could even come close to Georgia. Now after we beat them there is all these excuses that Georgia didn’t want to be there, they weren’t trying, yada yada yada. Well guess what we manhandled them from start to finish and it tears you little Aggies hearts up and I couldn’t be more happier. Good luck next year cause you guys are gonna need it. I see 7-5 maybe 8-4 at best. It’s funny how much you Aggies envy us Horns

@clob94 what was your guess again how this season would end?
Through my eyes is a thread I started. You can check and see that I predicted if we stayed healthy, we would have 9 wins in the regular season. If we didn't stay healthy we would be an 8 win team. Obviously we stayed healthy and won 9. I also predicted us in the alamo bowl but, I can't get everything perfect? ;)

49 pages and 2000 posts say otherwise.

They thought for sure Georgia would win, they would finish higher in the final rankings than us and they would get to talk trash for the next 8 months. Didn't work out so well for aggie though. They were sky-high after their little gator bowl win over an unranked team but Texas brought them back down to earth real fast! =)roll

Hey aggy we had a handful of starters sit out last year. Guess what we still won that’s what good teams do. All y’all wanna act like Georgia doesn’t have pride which is funny. We took it to them and now everyone wants to use an excuse when every single aggy was talking about us getting “raped” also getting it “dry”. Y’all and everyone else just feel stupid cause your sec sec sec brotherhood got smashed.

Why do Texas fans care what "Aggy" thinks? Y'all just won a NY6 Bowl. Why are you wasting your time on Texags?

Same reason you come here. We like to watch the meltdowns and are curious what you’re saying about us.

Way too much wishful thinking by the OP in that thread. First off, lets look at what they are losing and what is currently in the tank.

Mond is a good QB who is still learning his position, he make some good strides this year. They are set at starting QB.

RB is likely going to be wide open if TW leaves which I believe he will.

Offensive line, from what I know should be decent, but if they think a freshmen is going to come in and start, then either they are in bad shape or he is superman. 99 times out of 100 its an oline in sad shape.

TE - They just lost a damn good one who will be impossible to replace

Wr - not too sure, you have some talent but how much experience does your talent have.

Dline - loses 2 starters and I don't see anyone on their roster that are going to replace them. I do like Madubuike, he is a player.

LBs - Most important defensive position in the SEC and you guys just lost your top two players in Alanka and Dotson. You do bring Hines back but that's pretty much it.

DBs - You have absolutely nothing, and will likely rely on a bunch of freshmen who will get burned a lot.

I think it's kind to say that 8-4 is your ceiling with a strong possibility of also losing to Auburn and one of the Mississippi schools. I will say you are a 7-5 team who will be better than their record and should be pretty salty in 2020.

One thing about their schedule I would like to interject. I know all about the GA didn't want to be there crap from the SEC apologists.

But there is a greater point that needs to be said about the bulldogs. We exposed them as to how overrated they are. You can't it all with a qb who is nothing more than a game manager. And Texas proved that is all Jake Fromm is. So what I'm trying to say is the cow college just may beat the ugly ass bulldogs.

I think more than anything we proved we are still Texas, They can talk about the Big 12 like no one plays defense, but 4 Big 12 schools played 4 SEC schools in bowl games and the Big 12 offenses averaged over 30 pts in those games and almost 500 yards of offense. Oh, and the Big 12 went 3-1.

Back to my point. Texas may be in the Big 12, but Texas has big strong fast defensive players and the Texas defense can go toe to toe with anyone in the SEC not named Bama.

Finally one last big about Georgia. Great team with great athletes all over the field on both sides, but I think they would have been a 2 or 3 loss team in the Big 12. They had no real pass rush and frankly I thought their Dbs were overrated. Big 12 teams like Okie Lite, blOwU, and WV would drive them nuts. With all that said, they are built to play in the SEC against offenses that are not too hard to figure out. Aggsy have one of those offenses and I highly doubt they are going to Athens and beating Georgia.

I think your analysis is pretty even-handed here. I think we will be in better shape at TE, DB, than you think with the players that come in and younger talent. LB is the biggest ? mark with Dodson now leaving, but Hines is coming back. That could be a real problem. Corbin has looked pretty good at RB. Our WR's are young (all soph. this year). No great WR, but all should get better. You are right about Madubuike (who may go pro) and Peevy I think you will see really come into his own next year. OL we lose a lot, but the talent coming in will be better (another Matthews for one who they say is the best of the family) and should get better.

I think we will be better than 7-5, but I do agree with your assessment that 2020 is the year Aggies should be looking to. MSU should not be as good next year with Arky and Ole Miss still being ok. We get MSU and Auburn at home also.

A) It was a great victory
B) Their coach said otherwise but ok
C) We had guys out too
D) You aggys certainly coordinate your spin quickly
