Well he's been a longhorn lean for awhile now but then again Cam Wheaton was an OK lean for a long time.
He's had a top 4 for awhile OK, LSU, TX and A&M. From what I've read it's down to TX or A&M. Due to the situation regarding our team he may go elsewhere.
If we win tomorrow night and look good doing so and A&M loses to our old friend Mack Brown in the OB that might seal the deal. And a good game from Roschon Johnson, and especially Bijan Robinson, would be a boost.
I really want our guys to sign up LJ. Right now we're ranked 17th but LJ is so highly rated we might jump up a notch.
C'mon guys let's get LJ in a burnt orange jersey.
I personally think that he WANTS to go to Texas, but he is really studying and thinking about the way the running back is used. I have heard that A&M has had some recent momentum and that he is moving his decision up from February. I believe for sure it is between A&M and Texas. I think what is going on at Texas and Herman is not secure there does help A&M's chances. I felt he was an A&M lock a few months ago, then I thought he was a Texas lock, and now I have no idea. I would say A&M 55% Texas 45% at this point.
Bijan to me should give it away for him. Spiller has done well too. But Bijan has exploded. I agree. If Texas waxes Colorado and tamu loses to UNC, LJ is ATX bound
There are many reasons for LJ to pick Texas, I can only think of one football reason. Fact is as of right now Oklahoma and Aggie are both smarter picks right now than Texas is.
The only football reason to pick Texas is because of the relationship he has created with Stan Drayton. If/when Texas fires Herman, there is no guarantee Drayton would stay.
Both those other two programs are much more stable and both have had great offensive line recruiting and development.
