The nations #1 te, Jaleel Skinner, has announced today that TX is in his top 5. He's from South Carolina and considering our competition, we probably won't sign him. But hey if he was willing to announce for us let's see what we can do.
My kool-aid supply has been fully reallocated to basketball (and baseball, if someone can teach Pierce what a gassed pitcher looks like) for the foreseeable future. As for football, fool me 12 times....
Hope Sark is the answer, but I'm done getting hyped about anything until the results on the field warrant it. Maybe one of these years I'll end up pleasantly surprised.

Steve Sarkisian said he's had a 1000 yard rb everywhere he's been. That's a nice thing to hear.
Dyk that ISU will have 25 seniors this year? That hasn't happened in a very long time. And Breece Hall is the 1rst consensus AA in ISU history.
So maybe the 2 best rb's in the country will square off on 11/6/21.
The cockroaches are a lot better than I realize.
Baylor's defense is underrated.
WV is the sleeper team this year.
Props to Deuce Vaughn. And how can Chris Klieman go 2 for 2 against OK we can't even win once?
Mike Gundy gave an articulate talk about Prince apparently he didn't have anything interesting to say about fb.
OK's top recruit this year is dl Clayton Smith and he scares me.

Sanders should get some RZ looks on O IMO, but he is a full time DL if he has any desire to play beyond college.
The fact that there is a debate between whether or not he should play WR or DE tells me everything I need to know.
He's a DE.
Been some bad news of late on Sanders. News is that he thinks and acts like he is kelce or Gronkowski.
If he ends of being a giant TE that can single block DEs, out run LBs, and physically dominate DBs, I could live with that.
Word on the street is that the first NIL-allowed million dollar offer is out, and it's a high school kid from Texas.

No wonder he doesn't want to play for us. It's my understanding that tOSU has a similar arrangement with JT Tuimolau a hot shot from Seattle who just signed with them 2 weeks ago.
I’m curious to see how this affects team chemistry when a couple of high profile teammates are raking in NIL money while most everyone else gets little to nothing. With these kids it could create some legitimate team distractions that coaches will have to manage. Some guys get to drive around in sports cars and wear the fancy jewelry. That could spark some envy and jealousy among teammates and maybe some coaches too.
This is not going even across the board. Some players on some teams will make lots of money. Others wont. That LSU gymnast with 4 million followers on TikTok could probably sign with one of the big firms for 5-6 million dollars. She will have teammates that wont see a dime. Every sport will have to deal with this. If I was a coach I would be reaching out to Minor League managers to see how they deal with the whole bonus baby situation.
