Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson is being held out of the Saturday's game against Kansas as a precautionary measure, according to a source close to the situation.
From what I was told, Jefferson was held back this week during practice with the main goal of having him ready for TCU on Friday. However, I was told to not worry about Jefferson's health (short-term or long-term).
On a side note, the most interesting thing my source said this morning is he did not think Texas had the best week of practice prior to this game. However, the person is optimistic the Longhorns will pull it together against Kansas.
