Manziel domestic situation again today

The guy is a loser. He's got my vote for most likely to end up broke and homeless with an eventual arrest for felony shoplifting.

Nah, too much home money for that.

He will be out of football in 3 to 4 years, then he will spend the rest of his life at some country club in east Texas hustling a buck here and there and letting dumb aggsy buy him drinks just to talk to him about that one game against Bama.

Johnny is the guy who is going to live in college station or near by and he's going to own the town. Not because he is successful in life but rather because he happened to have a decent football game years ago.

To be honest, he reminds me of the Dallas kid that suffers from affuienzia or whatever they call it. The only difference between him and that kid that killed 4 people, is that he hasn't killed anyone yet.

Yes,he had a great game against Alabama but also winner of the Heisman as the best college player in the country that year. Its a very rare award.

I'll once again channel Ricky Bobby:

Dear God and your son little baby jesus, looking so cute lying there in your manger, please oh please let Jerra sign Johnny to play for the cowgirls. Twitter, instagram, facebook, espn, everything would literally explode and then HBO would sign them to do Hard Knocks and it would be like Xmas everyday!

He is an idiot. It's too bad because I would have at least like to have seen if he could play at the NFL level. I think he could in the right system, but he is going to piss it all away with his own ego.

Too bad he didn't win any conf or national titles. He does have one good win to his resume. One, in a whole college career. And it wasn't to win any title. Aggsy hero.

That boy needs to reach his hand around the back of waist . . . to the small of his back . . . then grab a tight hold on his neck . . . yank really hard . . . and pull his head out of his ass!

Guys,

He can't. He's mentally incapable of changing. Here's how I see it: This may sound simplistic but I've come to the conclusion that there's two types of people in this world--- the tappers and the sledgehammers. Hear me out:

The first type just need a tap on the shoulder to get them to realize there's a problem and it needs to be fixed promptly. They govern themselves, they don't turn a blind eye to a situation and they hold themselves accountable.

The second type must hit bottom, rock bottom, and then get smashed in a head with a sledgehammer before they realize how badly they screwed up. Think about it, you know plenty of both types.

Johnny is the ultimate sledgehammer. No amount of anything will fix his actions. Sooooo, get your popcorn ready and watch how this Hindenberg style crash unfolds.

He's a kid, no self control, wrecking his life while scrutinized incessantly by national media. He will likely mature in time. Most of us do.

I wouldn't even post this if you knew me. Once upon a time a 17 yr old freshman screwed around at Texas, flunked out, sent to Vietnam and spent 2 years thinking about life....before returning to Austin as Dean's list student until graduation.

I think the guy has time and opportunity to get it together. But whatever event might bring that to pass has not happened yet.

This "kid" is like 23 or 24 years old. And even kids learn not to touch a stove a second time.

Lots of people all over the map have certainly enabled him over the years. While many others have certainly tried to wake him up. I am not sure he can use youth as an excuse. I wouldn't call him a kid anymore. He is making grown man decisions. The real issue is that he continues to repeat the same moronic mistakes. No matter how much of a beating he gets. It is about time the $ and status stop blocking him from feeling the sting of his deviant actions. Continued drug abuse got him a few weeks in rehab that he skated thru and learned nothing from. That's the worst "penalty" he's had. Hell getting cut from Cleveland would be a blessing to escape that organization.

Beating women belongs in jail. Let him pay for his actions for once. And then see if he wakes up.

The AGGSY probably bought that Heisman with money under the table to the Downtown Athletic Club, now , don't tell me that ya can buy them votes as that was the only way A&M would ever have one besides Crows..One game does not make a Heisman, after the Bush deal it doesn't meant shit no more like it did when Earl and Ricky won it..he was not the best college player that year...there where others that deserved it more...Manziel is spend in Football, too much of a liability to anyone despite his skills..

If ya can buy Washington and a Politician,,, why not a Heisman?

Hook'em

He gone.

But for him, this might be looked at as a promotion to wherever he lands. He really better not mess that chance up.

Did Manziel ever get his college degree? Overheard an aggy saying he did....in 4 yrs.

NO. He did NOT. He RS'd. Then played 2 yrs. Total of 3 on campus. And he did not even go to class or really live on campus for the last year and a half.

When he left early, he said eventually he plans on completing college credits. But did not say he'd attend ATM.

Fun article when you google this topic that pops up first where a guy rips his "student" status

It's people who make excuses for others that are the problem. This guy is an ADULT; he is 23 years old. I was on my own, at middle-level manger at that age. When is someone no longer a "kid"? When does one reach the age of accountability? His dad is just as bad; the whole family is shady to begin with. He knows that he has old money to fall back; he hasn't had to earn anything in his life. He was given the best training, the best coaches, and the best football background that money could offer. He was great in college, but he had a lot of teammates covering his mistakes (Mike Evans). Now, he always has someone covering for him; when will he finally be held accountable? With that being said, the top flight athletes were always coddled. I played football and basketball in HS, and I started late in my HS career, but I wasn't the star. It was really clear who were; there was always a different standard, and we understood that. Unfortunately, they understood it too, and none of them really went very far, because they lacked accountability. They won the genetic lottery, and blew out, and I have zero sympathy for them, just like I have zero sympathy for Manziel. But that's OK; his family has money which means he can pay his way out of anything.
